Thanks to Winny & Bloomers for the beautiful new editions
Meet Ziggy

Flloyd

And Clancy

I am in love, and needed to share my excitement, since my other half doesn't seem to.
Cheers, Lynsey

That's a huge enclosure for a hatchling. I'd be keeping it in a click clack for a year or so if I were you.

Yeh I may still do that, I got a bit ahead of myself in all the excitement, probably take up much less room & keep aforementioned other half happier

I would love to say good things about Winny's Carpets, but i didn't see them in the flesh, though i am sure they are good looking critters considering the mother.
I can comment on the Womas from Bloomers, and i am sure that everyone that got one is very impressed, and happy with their little bubs. Great job getting onto Bloomers and picking up these little cuties.

The most venomous snake in the world is the one that just bit you... Unless its a python.

Well I picked #4 of Winny's babies, mainly becoz it had some unusual markings along its back, its a beautiful little thing, but pretty fiesty, a huge contrast to the womas. Ziggy strikes at anything & everything in his/her path, but its gorgeous, bloody quick too. Clancy & Flloyd are such little darlings, so gentle & sweet. I fed them all last night & the womas were perfect little saints, they were so gentle & took their dinner so carefully, it was bizarre to watch. I am used to Zeppelyn doing the big S & striking like she's never been fed before. Then Ziggy was the same, he actually looked surprised when he got something in his gob, coz he had been striking at every shadow, in every direction. He's going to need more handling, to settle down. A big change from Zep who was a gentle girl right from the start.

I know what your saying about the mother, she is stunning isn't she, Winny got all the kids out while I was visiting, I met mum & dad & the cousins, the parents were pretty chilled out, I am completely in love

If he just sits in one spot on the log all the time , perhaps he got that from his dad. Stan sits in the fork of a branch all the time and hardly moves

I got Ziggy out last night, little bugger bit me about 55 times, but it was hard not to laugh at him, coz it didnt hurt at all, not used to having one so defensive, the other 2 are so quiet & Zeppelyn has always been very gentle. Its good practice though I think. Is is stressful to him, to keep handling him if he bites every time i move? Or is it best to keep persevering & he'll eventually calm down & not be so jumpy? It doesn't bother me when he does bite coz it doesn't hurt, but I don't want things to go backwards coz Im doing the wrong thing? He is a beautiful looking little guy/girl.

Zeppelyn pretty much sits on her basking shelf all day & then explores the bottom at night. She always goes down the bottom to go the toilet, which is handy, very considerate girl she is.

Bloomy, Flloyd (#5) is finally sloughing, but it seems to be taking its time, coming off in bits, I've been misting him to help & I've caught him in his water a couple of times, those 2 are such cool little dudes, very chilled.

yeh Zeppelyn had a really bad shed a couple of years ago, i soaked her every day & put a damp towel in her enclosure for her to rub on & eventually it came off, then i made a few alterations to increase the humidity in her enclosure & haven't had a problem since, i'll do what you have suggested over the weekend, if he hasnt got it off by tonight. hey when you get a chance, could you send me both of their feeding charts etc?
