Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone use a reptastat 5000 dimming thermostat? I bought one the other day because the petshop dude told me that i really needed them. Anyways, I'm having trouble using it as it didnt come with instructions. The one on the box are (is?) detailed enough for me, I've done what its said but to me the red light stays on night icon and doesnt seem to change to the day icon does that mean its not changing to the day temperature? Cheers

Is that more in line with what you're trying to ask? Please make an effort to be more easily understood.

Just some ideas: Have you rung the petshop to ask for the instructions? Have you programmed both a day and night temperature? Perhaps you need to manually switch between day and night temps?

Here's some more information on the product you purchased, as I don't actually own any dimming thermostats.
